PLEASE NOTE - We require that you be an up-to-date PAID MBN and/or KCBS member to judge our contest - Bring your membership card, and we will have a list of paid members.
You may check in AFTER 4:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday IN FRONT OF THE 17th STREET WAREHOUSE to receive an armband good for the Fish Fry and the Grand Champion Meal. This armband is good for you and a guest. Please understand that this is a wholly sustaining, not-for-profit event and we depend on entry fees, ticket sales, and sponsorships to fund the contest. We would love for you to bring additional guests -- tickets are $23 for the fish fry and $30 for the Grand Champion Meal.
Please check in AFTER 4:00 p.m. on Thursday if you have been notified via email that your name was drawn to judge the fish and wing contest. Fish and Wing judging starts at approximately 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Only a limited number of judges will be needed for Thursday, based on the number of entries -- therefore we cannot guarantee a judging spot.
On SATURDAY MORNING, judges must check in by 8:30 a.m. in front of the 17th Street Warehouse.
We are fortunate to have so many judges who want to participate ... and it's important to vary the judges and have new people each year, therefore we use a LOTTERY SYSTEM. Judges will be drawn on July 31 and we will contact you by phone or email when we know the number of judges we'll need for our contest. We won't know the exact number until the teams have registered. So, please be patient!
